Who are we and why do we do this?

We do this so that those vendors and couples save money. So what happens when you use one of the big sites that you can never get a hold of?

As a couple, you register, set up your dates and times, and get a list of vendors you're looking for. Those vendors are then contacted by the big-name sites on your behalf. You know why they do that?

Because those vendors are going to pay, sometimes as much as $20.00 per lead, to answer you. Guess who's paying that fee? You are couples.

Vendors, how nice is it going to be to pretty much put whatever you want in your listing and know that you are not going to have to pay for a lead from our site? Your leads directly message you. We are not involved in that. Now that you're not paying advertising prices, you can probably charge a smaller rate or fee.

I assure you, we are not getting rich off this; heck, we are lucky we make anything, so why do we do this?

Isn't a wedding expensive enough, and for vendors, isn't it already tough to make some profit? Why tap into your money to answer a lead? I don't get it, and that is why I started this.

I was an officiant paying those big-name companies for the same thing we are doing here for free. Who pays for all this? Well, it's paid for. We are hosted on a server in Germany (cheaper server hosting if you need one—bottom left of the site), and we own the software, so why not help people out?

 

Plus, I have extra time on my hands since I became sick. So giving back is good for the soul.
